Spiritual Soundings creates drone-based, ambient-style music played on acoustic instruments, facilitating a deep meditative experience. Connecting listeners to one another and all consciousness, participants may meditate, pray, or listen deeply.
For this Sounding, Evan Premo is joined by storyteller/Native flutist Michael Laughing Fox Charette, a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Laughing Fox begins the sounding with the creation story of the flute, which morphs into an extended musical meditation.
