Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sam Amidon brings historical harmony to the Unitarian Universalist Church, with a participatory singalong channeling one of the country’s oldest vocal traditions – 200 years old, in fact – as attendees raise their voices in four parts, led and accompanied by Amidon.
Shape Note Singing is part of Story & Song, a unique lineup of heartfelt tales and tunes in the Unitarian Universalist Church from 4 pm to 9:30 pm. Enjoy tales from The Moth, shape-note singing, and live concerts from beloved local singer/songwriters Hannah Francis and Sam Amidon. Artful projections by Vanish Works and lighting by Jason Ligget will illuminate the space and light our way into a brilliant start to 2026!
