What would Highlight be without a giant live (and controlled) burn in Waterfront Park! Cirque de Fuego has once again built a massive wooden effigy of Lake Champlain’s sea monster, Champ. Waterfront Park opens at 2 pm for all who want to see Champ in its pre-burn glory. Then after the fireworks, Cirque de Fuego will perform and ignite Champ to launch us all into 2024. This is one of NYE’s hottest events, so be sure not to miss the third year of this uber-Burlington rite!
