The Wormdogs are a six-piece, Burlington-based swampy bluegrass rock n’ roll machine formed at the intersection of respect, friendship, and the love of music. Their sound ranges from traditional old-time sparsity to heavy folk-adelic and on to finger rippin’ bluegrass. The Wormdogs instrumentation consists of fiddle, mandolin, upright bass, electric and acoustic guitars, and drums. The whole band writes the songs and takes turns singing and harmonizing. In their five years together, The Wormdogs have released three full-length records, including Doggin is My Business, Hey Thanks, and their most recent release, Sunny Side Up.
