Our pals at Humane Society of Chittenden County and Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the vodka for dog people, have teamed up to get all dogs and dog-lovers out for a group stroll down Church Street on New Year’s Eve. We aim to make this a fun event for both pups and peeps with , so make sure your doggies are on their leash and ready to socialize, and we’ll make sure to keep loud noises to a minimum and have lots of treats on hand.
We’ll meet at the top of Church Street (Church & Pearl Streets) at 4:30 pm. Before this, you are encouraged to stop by Fetch The Leash (85 Pearl Street) for a dog open house from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. For your pet to roam around Fetch The Leash, bring your recent vet records.
The PAWrade will hook a right on College Street and head down to Main Street Landing. Here, from 5-6 pm, enjoy a a dog-friendly Tito’s Yappy Hour where we’ll have special cocktail menus with sales supporting the Humane Society. Art, dogs, beverages – it should be awesome.
Vodka and Dogs? We know, it struck us as a strange combination at first too, but it turns out that Tito’s Handmade Vodka has been working hard to support doggie focused organizations across the US for years! Head here to learn more about their good work: https://www.titosvodka.com/dogs/
